MLS All Stars 1 Arsenal 2: Akpom strikes late to secure victory for Gunners after Drogba strike

Chuba Akpom struck in the last five minutes as Arsenal secured a pleasing 2-1 victory over the MLS All Stars in a closely-fought friendly.

Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba returned to haunt the Gunners in the first half, equalising after an early penalty from Joel Campbell.

But the Gunners weren't to be denied. Granit Xhaka, Jack Wilshere and Rob Holding impressed throughout but the winner came from Akpom, converting a low cross from Monreal four minutes before the end.
