Michael Owen is tipping Arsenal to ease to a comfortable
victory over Sunderland and book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup
this weekend.
The north London side are preparing to kick off their
title defence in front of their home fans at Emirates Stadium on Saturday after
having won the competition for the last two season.
Arsenal have
enjoyed a positive start to the season and currently sit top of the Premier League table,
two points ahead of second-placed Leicester City.
The Gunners began 2016 with a battling 1-0 win over Newcastle
United at Emirates Stadium last weekend.
Former England and Arsenal forward Owen feels that
Arsenal are set to ease to victory to reach the fourth round.
Owen wrote on his blog for Bet Victor: “Arsenal are looking for a record 13th win in
the competition, a third successive Wembley triumph and cannot be opposed
against a Sunderland side
who travel to the Liberty Stadium Swansea on Wednesday in a vital
bottom-of-the-table clash, which manager Sam Allardyce is
likely to prioritise.”
