The goalkeeper has
indicated his communication tricks ensure Arsenal's defence remains watertight
as they look to consolidate their position at the top of the table
Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech says he speaks to his defence in three different languages to ensure
they can all understand his commands.
The Gunners' back four is made up of four different nationalities, with Spaniards Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal, German Per Mertesacker and Frenchman Laurent Koscielny all featuring at the back.
And Cech - who notched a record 170th Premier League clean sheet against Bournemouth on Monday - has revealed he leaves nothing to chance by communicating with each individual in a different tongue.

He
said: "I speak to the full-backs (Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal) in
Spanish, to (Laurent) Koscielny in French and to Per (Mertesacker) in English
because for him it is the same as me.
"Sometimes
the foreign player wouldn't know what you say. That's when you realise
sometimes it's easier to say it in their language than hoping they will

less chances to have a clean sheet."
