Henry insists Cech could be the 'difference' in Arsenal's title challenge

The 33-year-old has been in impressive form since his arrival from Chelsea last summer and the Gunners' record scorer believes his performances could prove to be crucial


Thierry Henry believes Petr Cech could be the decisive factor in Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge this season.

The 33-year-old has been instrumental since joining from Chelsea last summer and he faces his former club when Guus Hiddink’s men head to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Arsenal will go top of the Premier League with a win over Chelsea, and Arsenal’s all-time record scorer believes Arsene Wenger’s summer signing has been a revalation.

“He is the difference,” Henry told Sky Sports.

“We always talk about goal-scorers, the guy that can provide assists, guys who are good at the back – but you need an amazing goalkeeper if you want to win the title and Petr Cech, what he’s doing at the moment is absolutely amazing.
