Mesut Ozil is embracing the
pressures of being "the man" for Arsenal this season and his
teammates have to take advantage of his vision as they seek to end a 12-year
Premier League title drought, according to club captain Mikel Arteta.
After
getting criticised for being inconsistent in his first two seasons with
Arsenal, Ozil has been praised throughout this campaign, with his 16 assists
helping lead Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table at the halfway
stage.
Arteta
is the latest to hail the Germany, saying his dominant displays in midfield are
the result of an increased confidence level and being more comfortable in the
team following his £42.5 million transfer from Real Madrid.
