Olivier Giroud would be open to leaving Arsenal for
Napoli, should the club ask him to leave, his agent has revealed.
The France international was linked with a potential swap
move as part of a deal that would see Gonzalo Higuain join The Gunners.
Arsene Wenger is believed to be in the market for a new
striker and saw Jamie Vardy knock back a move to the Emirates earlier in the
summer.
The French coach is a fan of Argentina international
Higuain and the cost of a deal for him would be reduced by including his
compatriot in the deal.
And Giroud’s agent Michael Manuello has confirmed that
his client would be open to a move to Naples.
If he was asked to leave, then we would evaluate options,’ he told Radio CRC.

‘There is no fear from Olivier about possibly going to
Napoli: it is a magnificent city.
‘In Campania, my client could lead a wonderful life.
‘Not to mention that the type of game played by Sarri
could enhance the quality of a centre-forward like him.’
