Emre Can and Mesut Ozil were in high spirits as Germany
trained ahead of their final Euro 2016 group game against Northern Ireland this
week.
Joachim Low’s side have made a solid if unspectacular
start to their European championship campaign after a 2-0 victory over Ukraine
was followed by a goalless draw with their neighbours Poland last week.
Germany will face Michael O’Neill’s Northern Ireland side
in their concluding game of the group-stage as the minnows look to spring
perhaps the greatest upset of their Euro 2016 campaign so far.
The Mannschaft are bidding to win the European
championship for the first time since 1996 just two years after Mario Gotze’s
extra-time winner secured a 1-0 win against Argentina in the World Cup final.
Can and Ozil were in a relaxed mood as the pair posed for
a photo which the Liverpool midfielder posted on his Instagram page: “Fun at
training @m10_official
#diemannschaft #jederfürjeden #vivelamannschaft”
